Founded in 2016, Doubloon Productions is a full-service independent video production company based in Los Angeles, CA. Headed by Steve Bakken, who has over 20 years of experience in the LA entertainment industry, Doubloon has worked in a variety of filmmaking genres ranging from scripted features and documentaries to independent television pilots, reality and docu-series, short form web-series and commercials.

Our goal is to assist our clients and partners by working with them every step of the way through a project, from development into production and through to distribution, or simply focus on specific phases of the process as needed. We aim to streamline the often difficult logistics involved in production and provide transparency so that we can avoid unnecessary and costly situations that can arise, and we are adaptable to virtually any budget threshold. Collaboration and communication are key elements in delivering content on time and on budget.

We have a vested interest in every project we take on and strive to bring results of the highest caliber possible. We don't succeed unless our clients and partners do.
